Ireland will battle Scotland on Sunday, March 12 at the BT Murrayfield Stadium, in Edinburgh. This is the second of three matches of the Six Nations Championship 2023, which take place on the final day.
The game-winner will receive the Centenary Quaich, in 1989, it was first awarded, and Ireland won the trophy after defeating Scotland by a score of 27-24 in the 2021 Championship. Their most recent triumphs came in the 2022 Championship when Ireland defeated Scotland 26-5.
Since 1877, Ireland and Scotland have played 139 rugby Test matches, from which Ireland has won 68 games, whereas Scotland have won 66. There were five matches were drawn between the two countries.
