After getting a successful victory over the United States, Jamaica gets the chance to play in this year's World Cup. Previously, they failed to qualify for the World Cups in 2013 and 2017.
After enjoying the country's biggest success in a short period of time, they broke away from rugby league, beating the Americans again at Kingston in 2019 and tying points with Scotland at Featherstone late last year.
They played their first RLWC 2022 match against Ireland at Leeds and lost that match by a score of 2–48. Then battle with New Zealand at Hull and finally Lebanon at Leigh to close out the group stage.
