England Autumn Nations Series 2022 Schedule

 

England will compete with the 2023 Rugby World Cup rivals Japan and Argentina in the first match of the Autumn Nations Series in November 2022. Eddie Jones'team will play with New Zealand (All Blacks) and South Africa (Springboks) for consecutive weekends.

In the 2022 autumn nations series, England will battle with New Zealand, world champion Springboks, and their two 2023 Rugby World Cup pool challengers.

In November 2022, Eddie Jones' team will complete four tests at Twickenham, starting with Japan and Argentina, which will also compete in their first qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup in Group D.

For the first time, England will meet New Zealand since their 19-7 victory in the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup.
They'll finish their year again with a game against South Africa as they beat last month by a score of 27-26 thanks to Marcus Smith's 79th-minute penalty.

England head coach Jones said these competitions will be a significant part of our 2023 World Cup preparation.

"It's almost like a mini-world cup in itself, and we are lucky to have organized it less than a year ahead of the start of the event.

"It's a good touchstone for the team to see where we are and ultimately ranked first and second in the world."
